What a way to ring in the New Year! The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions. I loved the spa; it was super relaxing, and the friendly staff made it even better. The breakfast spread had some lovely touches, and I enjoyed the fresh milk instead of UHT-so nice! Plus, the little extras in the room, like the plush robe and cute mugs, were a good surprise.

By and large, it was excellent place for sightseeing in Knutsford, had much fun. Got double room with comfortable beds when arrived, loved that. Location: the hotel was close enough to EXCELLENT SHOPS and the restaurant and desert. Also, Gauntlet Birds of Prey was just a short distance away.

We stayed at Cottons Hotel and Spa, expecting a relaxing experience for my birthday, but it fell short. While the spa therapists were lovely and the facilities were clean, the restaurant service was frustratingly slow, and the pool area felt overcrowded. Despite this, we enjoyed exploring nearby attractions like Tatton Park, which offered a nice escape and fostered family bonding.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, rooms, staff and location where all great. 5 minutes from knutsford for some good shops and restaurants.
The only problem was ,we asked for breakfast in the room which did not arrive, and when we rang reception was told the kitchen was closed so had to have tea and toast instead.

The very large hotel with all kinds of services. Very comfortable beds and towels are large and soft. Very good selection of teas and coffees in the room. Check in and check out are very easy and fast.
My room was quite small and there is very little space to store the clothes (one of the cabinets has an ironing board and an iron, one has shelves full of other pillows... things that are useful but take up a lot of space). Everyone in my group complained about the same thing. The Spa was very good but they put a lot of chlorine in the jacuzzi and I finished the 2 days with the red eyes.

The Cottons showcases a comfortable environment with well-appointed rooms featuring thoughtful amenities like a mini fridge, toiletries, and a nice desk setup. The restaurant serves an excellent breakfast, praised for its delicious offerings. Friendly and attentive staff enhance the experience. The spa facilities are appealing, including a lovely outdoor hot tub shared with the wellness area, improving overall relaxation. ,
The bedside mirror's height made it challenging for grooming, and the heating system in the room was slightly problematic. , Overall_rating: 8

A lovely 4 star spa hotel which could easily be a 5 star. Lovely surroundings and hotel itself had lots of cosy places.
Possible upgrade on bathroom but like any hotel they are used so often that it is not always possible to keep spending the money.

The spa area is very nice, the beds are excellent
The price-performance ratio is not in order, the rooms are very dark and are getting old.

The spa facilities include an outdoor hot tub that offers a relaxing retreat despite the chaos inside. The rooms provide decent amenities like a mini fridge and a Nespresso machine stocked with coffee options, a nice perk for a caffeine boost.
The location is right under the flight path of a major airport, leading to a noisy atmosphere that can intrude on your peace. The cleanliness of the rooms leaves something to be desired. For instance, the bathroom had remnants from previous occupants, which isn't ideal. Breakfast felt limited in portions, with slow service that left diners feeling unfulfilled after waiting for their meals. Some room features like the broken air conditioning and window could really reduce comfort levels during a stay.

First of all, I thought the reception was very informative about finding our room and our table bookings. The meals were fairly price yet tasted great. I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the variety of breakfast was great. We booked appointments at the spa and the "life saving back massage" was absolutely fantastic!

The stay was excellent. Staff were motivated to make the stay pleasent and gave good indications about things to do nearby. The food in the restaurant was very nice and the staff made the effort to give us a secluded table one evening for a quiet meal. Did not try the SPA so cannot comment, but seems to be well equiped
